Yang Xiaochun, a professor at Northeastern University in China, has been engaged in teaching and research in the field of data management and analysis for 20 years. She served as the board of Academic Working Committee of China Computer Federation (CCF), Editorial Board of the International Magazine Data Science and Engineering, guest editor of IEEE Trans. on Database and Engineering Special Issue of Online Recommendation Using AI and Big Data Techniques (2021),
general Co-Chair of ADMA 2023 (19th Conference on Advanced Data Mining and Applications), PC Co-Chair of NDBC 2020 (37th National Database Conference) and ADMA 2020 (16th Conference on Advanced Data Mining and Applications), Publication Co-Chair of ICDE 2023, and PC members of several top-tier international conferences, e.g., ACM SIGMOD, PVLDB, ICDE, SIGKDD, and etc. She is also serving as the board on CCF Database Professional Committee, CCF Collaborative Computing Professional Committee, Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) Smart Services. She won best paper awards on ICMR 2021, DASFAA 2017, FCST 2012, WAIM 2011, WISA 2019, and WISA 2005. She is a member of ACM and IEEE, and distinguished member of CCF.
